We received another warm comment card sent via US Postal Service (with a stamp and everything) again today. It still is a pleasant and complete surprise when a Santa Rosa CityBus patron takes the time (and money for the stamp) to send us a compliment. Not a complaint or criticism, a compliment! We love our riders right back.

I live by the Village of Montgomery. I usually wait for Bus #2, 8, or 18 and while I am waiting for the bus I have noticed that people have been smoking while waiting for the bus. If there is no smoking policy in the Transit Mall then it should apply to all the bus stop as well.

The no smoking policy is currently only at the Transit Mall. We have discussed this policy for all bus stops but, enforcement would be impossible. The city's no-smoking policy, as it is written, could be interpreted to include bus stops but again, enforcement would be problematic.
