In April, the City of Santa Rosa's Paratransit Division won the CalACT Outstanding Program Award for 2010.
Last night, the Santa Rosa City Council invited members of the Santa Rosa Paratransit Users Group and the Paratransit Program Manager, Michael Ivory, to come before council and receive a proclamation commending their work and thanking them for helping to make the system a model one. A video of the council meeting will be posted on the main city web page shortly, if anyone wants to watch the proceedings.
The applause was well deserved. We are all proud of Michael's efforts. And we are also appreciative of the enthusiastic Santa Rosa Paratransit Users Group, who work hard alongside Michael to address challenges and make Santa Rosa Paratransit an award winning system.
We are so proud of Michael, in fact, that one of our staff made an amusing video in his honor....
